Terms of Service

These terms govern Flux Drop accounts and parcel pickup and drop-off services. They form an agreement between you and FLUX DROP, an Ontario sole proprietorship registered under Ontario BIN 1001641803.

1. Accepting these terms

You accept these terms when you create an account or confirm a parcel order. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use Flux Drop for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to act for it.

The order confirmation shows the service selected, pickup point, destination, parcel size, quoted price, payment method, and current policy versions. Review and correct those details before placing the order.

2. What Flux Drop provides

Flux Drop provides local parcel pickup, sealed handling, courier matching, route and status updates, and drop-off confirmation in the service area shown in the app. Flux Drop is parcel logistics only; it is not the seller or manufacturer of a parcel’s contents.

Pickup times, courier ETAs, route lines, and delivery windows are estimates. Traffic, weather, safe parking, building access, parcel stacking, and recipient availability may change them. A courier or operations team may refuse, pause, return, or cancel work that cannot be completed safely or lawfully.

3. Accounts and verification

4. Parcel requirements

The sender is responsible for accurately describing, sizing, packaging, closing, labelling, and lawfully offering the parcel for transport. Packaging must withstand ordinary local handling without leaking, opening, injuring a person, damaging property, or exposing private contents.

Do not send illegal goods, weapons, explosives, regulated dangerous goods, hazardous or infectious material, live animals, stolen property, or anything the app or support team identifies as prohibited. Medicines, alcohol, cannabis, age-restricted goods, high-value property, perishables, and fragile items may require prior written approval or may be refused. Flux Drop may inspect the outside of a parcel, request information, or contact authorities when reasonably necessary for safety or legal compliance.

5. Quotes, charges, and payment

The app displays the parcel fee before confirmation. A new quote may be required if the destination, parcel size, demand, payment method, or other price input changes. Wallet orders are settled only after confirmed drop-off. When “Recycle parcel” or another collect-at-drop-off method is selected, the app identifies the sender fee the courier must collect separately from the courier’s earnings.

Live payment, refund, and payout features are available only when the relevant processor and account are ready. If a live processor is unavailable, the app must show that a request is pending setup or operations review; it does not promise an instant transfer. Taxes, credits, adjustments, refunds, and payout status are recorded in the account ledger or applicable request.

6. Pickup, seals, and delivery

Each parcel uses a seal or barcode workflow. Confirm the courier, vehicle, parcel identity, and seal before handoff. Do not share a seal code early or complete a handoff when the code, parcel condition, courier, or vehicle does not match.

A tamper event may require return to a hub and a new seal. Delivery is complete only after the required confirmation. If nobody can safely receive the parcel, Flux Drop may contact the sender or recipient, return the parcel, or arrange another lawful disposition. Additional work is not included unless the app or operations team confirms it.

7. Cancellations, returns, and refunds

A sender may cancel through the app while the parcel is still in a cancellable pre-pickup state. Once physical transport starts, contact support; stopping or reversing the delivery may not be possible. The app shows any charge or credit before confirmation where the workflow supports it.

An eligible delivered parcel may have a return-logistics request window. A return request is not an automatic merchandise refund, delivery-fee refund, replacement, or insurance decision. Flux Drop reviews transport issues separately from claims about goods sold by another merchant.

Nothing in these terms limits a cancellation, refund, warranty, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

8. Courier responsibilities

Couriers must keep required licences, insurance, vehicle information, equipment, and legal eligibility current; use a safe and suitable vehicle; obtain a real location fix before going online in production; follow pickup, seal, route, communication, and drop-off controls; and never misstate the sender fee as courier earnings.

Available work, estimates, earnings, and payout timing are not guaranteed. The app shows parcel-specific courier earnings separately from amounts collected for the sender’s order. Couriers must not collect an undisclosed amount, open parcel contents, retain a parcel, falsify location or completion, drive unsafely, or use account information outside the delivery.

9. Location, communications, and privacy

When enabled, Flux Drop uses location, notifications, camera scanning, parcel chat, SMS, and voice controls to operate the delivery. Use these features only for the parcel and do not send unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, or sensitive content that is unnecessary for delivery. The Privacy Policy explains collection, use, sharing, retention, safeguards, and privacy requests.

10. Safety, support, and incidents

Use emergency services for immediate danger. Use Flux Drop support for a missing parcel, mismatch, tamper alert, unsafe handoff, payment issue, return, or account problem. Preserve relevant packaging, photos, messages, and factual details. Do not knowingly make a false report or interfere with an investigation.

11. Availability and responsibility

Flux Drop works to keep the service accurate and available, but networks, maps, devices, third-party processors, weather, and other events can interrupt it. Where legally permitted, each party is responsible for losses caused by its own breach, negligence, unlawful conduct, false information, or unsafe handling. Flux Drop does not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Suspension and ending use

You may stop using Flux Drop and request account assistance at any time, subject to active deliveries, outstanding balances, investigations, and records that must be retained. Flux Drop may restrict or suspend access to protect people, parcels, accounts, payments, the platform, or legal compliance. When practical, we will explain the reason and the available review path.

13. Changes and governing law

Material changes are identified by a new effective date and may require renewed acceptance. Changes do not rewrite an already confirmed order unless you agree or the law requires it. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada, without limiting mandatory rights available where you live.

14. Contact

Questions, notices, and support requests can be sent through the Support page or to support@flux-drop.com. Business address: London, Ontario, Canada.
